We have the prophetic!

“So we have the prophetic word made more sure, to which you do well to pay attention, as to a lamp shining in a dark place until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts.”
2 Peter 1:19

The area of prophecy and the prophetic are popular topics in some areas of the body of Christ and almost ignored in others. Those who are gifted in prophecy use words and revelations that enable and empower us to step into our destiny and into our true identity, which is imperative.

We should desire the prophetic.  The reason being that the prophetic should always be to advance the Kingdom of God and to live the full complete life that the Father has for us. There will be those particularly gifted in prophesy but we are all called to prophesy, to speak the wisdom and revelations the Lord places within us that bring encouragement and understanding to others.

As believers we are equipped to hear the Lord’s voice, personally and intimately, and spirit to spirit. His Word reminds us that He is spirit, and we worship and know Him from within our spirit; we relate spirit to spirit.

God’s voice is like a lamp that shines a light in dark places, giving us clarity and direction. The prophetic becomes clear in our lives as we grow confident in hearing God’s voice for ourselves and for those around us. We see that we achieve more of what He has for us. We are able to activate what we see in order to become more efficient and effective on behalf of the Kingdom. Today is a day to listen to His heartbeat, to draw closer to the Father, and to ask for wisdom, strategy, and details on moving forward from where we are to where He wants us to be.
