Youth and Children’s Groups

Toddler Groups.  We have two toddler groups:

Nippers ‘n Natters, is parent & toddlers group.  It runs every Wednesday during term-time, from 9:15am until 11:15am in the Church Hall (entered from Victoria Road entrance). There is an opportunity for social interaction with other grandparents/parents/carers and the Church team over tea/coffee whilst also providing a safe, happy environment for the children to play.  We encourage involvement in play, music and craft  and provide toast and a drink for the children mid-morning.

We also run a toddler group at Lower Penarth Community Centre, Brockhill Way, Cosmeston, Penarth on Friday mornings. There’s lots of fun things for your children to entertain themselves with. We have a wide range of play equipment and organise craft activities through out the term. There is also a soft play area suitable for babies.  There’s toast and squash available for the children and tea, coffee and some very tasty cakes for the parents. After your vocal cords have been refreshed everyone comes together for a singalong.  It’s a great place for your children to come and make new friends….the parents seem to enjoy the experience too!  Even though the hall is a good size we recommend that you arrive on time as we are restricted to the numbers of children that we can accommodate and we don’t want to cause any disappointment.

Parents and Toddlers runs during the school term time only.

The 94th Penarth (Stanwell Rd Baptist) Guide & Scout Group hold meetings for Rangers, Guides, Brownies, Scouts, Beavers & Cubs in the Hall

They attend Parade Services once a quarter in the Church.

On a Friday night we host an open youth club called BaseCamp in partnership with other churches in the town.
