Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Worship the LORD with gladness;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

come before him with joyful songs.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Know that the LORD is God.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is he who made us, and we are his;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

\u2018Fully to enjoy is to glorify, in commanding us to glorify Him, God is inviting us to enjoy Him\u2019<\/em> (C S Lewis)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We, all of us, must have experienced a time that for whatever reason, we did not feel like worshiping.  In stead we just wanted to wallow in self pity.  But somehow we forced ourselves and \u2018sorrow was indeed turned to dancing\u2019 Psalm 30:11.  If not then you need to add that experience to your life.  I\u2019m pretty convinced that before long you\u2019ll be having a day that you\u2019d rather forget.  Well, please begin to worship God in that day and see if it becomes a day to remember!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Worship is not confined to church services, we can worship anywhere.  Sometimes, sadly, I think that in some church services, God is not worshipped at all!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is in the furrows of bible reading and prayer that the furrow of worship can be dug.  Our worship will only be as deep as our knowledge of God.  We get to know Him more and more in our time spent in the bible and in prayer which fires up our worship which creates an even deeper hunger for the word and prayer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the light of You<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I’ve found the joy of reaching Your heart<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When my will becomes enthroned in Your love

I worship You
I worship You
The reason I live is to worship You.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
